The only person that I know of who had bad relations with one of the directors was Brian Croucher (Travis 2). As Travis is the only charatcter I recall with a large stone on his ring, the anecdote holds water at least that far, though I must admit that I'm dubious overall. I was very impressed. I've found that when I watch myself back on TV it's like watching someone *completely* different (like hearing your voice on tape, only a thousand-fold). It was interesting to have that level of objectivity put over it - like hearing about fandom for the first time. Andrew Abbott did a great job. I think he did a particularly excellent job with the choice of clips. One thing I remember him saying was that he really had to limit the number of episodes which he could take clips from on the grounds of expense. I certainly wasn't expecting him to use as many as four! (Think I counted that correctly - any takers?) Yeah, we talked a fair bit about slash! What a fantastic edit that was! Just enough for those in the know about slash to have a good snicker! ;) Judith: you did really well; you didn't seem nervous at all. As Pita said, you really communicated your enthusiasm. Here are some general rules we have about the library which will hopefully set your mind at rest in terms of protecting zines from loss, damage, theft, etc. - The zine library will only be open when a steward is available. - Readers will be asked to leave any bags with the steward at the door. - No zines may be taken out of the library. - No food and drink in the library. - I shall be lending my own collection of very rare 1980s zines so I have a vested interest in making sure every zine in the library is *extremely* well-cared for!! If you would like to loan any zines to the library, send me an e-mail (address above) and I'll give you the finer detail of how we're going about it. But I have read all of your responses; all of you are quite thoughtful and thorough in your posts. It is such a pleasure to read them. However, in going through the mail, imagine my suprise at the advertisements that were included. Since I use Hotmail (to avoid being stalked) i am used to the little advertisements that flag on- it is usually stuff I would buy. But weird moneymaking schemes(!)What next? Pictures of girls who are "Barely Legal"? Alien phone numbers? Ok, it was a bit off topic, so here is an ob7 reference question: What would Avon do to spammers? Would Viula participate in sending Spam? Would blake send his message through spamming?
