[information about Taoist magick. ]

There are Taoist systems of magic, alchemy and yoga. Unfortunately, I
can't help you with the Magic part. On Taoist Yoga I would recommend
the books of Charles Luk (e.g. Taoist Yoga) and Kumar Frantzis
"Openning the Energy Gates of the Body." Taoist yoga practices are
also called Qi gong. (Please no debates over whether Qi Gong is yoga.)

If you're interested in the intersection [between magick and tantra] I
would refer you to the work Tantric Magick by Michael Magee. He posts
here reguarly but he has been travelling alot.

For Buddhist Tantra I would refer you to: "The Clear Light of Bliss"
by Geshe Kalsang Gyatso. For Indian Tantra I would refer you to "The
Tantric Tradition" by Agehananda Bharati as an early survey work. It's
not the greatest but it's a start.

Well it all depends on the bookstores. As for catalogs you might send
for the catalog of Wayfarer Publications. They have many books on
Taoism. If you can still get a "Yes" books catalog then that will
have a wide variety of books on the topics you are interested in. For
Buddhist books you can call Snow Lion publications. All of these will
be listed in Books in Print under publishers.
